FREDONIA — With the support of $4.7 million construction allocation from the State of New York and a $604,000 NYSTAR grant, SUNY Fredonia is planning a rural/small city high technology business incubator. Gardella, Jr., Ph.D., professor of chemistry, and Thomas Melendy, Ph.D., associate professor of microbiology and immunology, both at the University at Buffalo, have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world's largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science.
