CASE (Computer Applications and Software Engineering) Center
Recipient of an Enhanced CAT award The CASE Center is a research organization focused on computer applications and software engineering, sponsored by the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR); government; private industry; and Syracuse University. The CASE Center applies traditional university strengths in research and education to economic development. CASE is working on identifying signature technologies for Syracuse and the surrounding Central New York area that support key industry clusters in electronics and information technology. Signature technologies provide a technological identity for Syracuse and Central New York. They are the technological links between the business, government, and academic institutions that are the industry clusters in the region. Syracuse University
